Ferry (Ship)

Port of departure : Piombino (LI) is the only mainland port for passenger and car ferries.

Ports of arrival : Portoferraio (main), Rio Marina and Cavo.

Journey time : Approximately 30–60 minutes depending on the route and means of transport (ferry or hydrofoil).

Shipping companies : Toremar, Moby Lines, Blu Navy and Albania Ferry (Elba Ferries).
🚢 Ferry Schedules (Piombino ↔ Elba Route)
Ferry services run throughout the day, with frequencies ranging from every 30 minutes in high season to every hour in low season.
The races are exclusively during the day.

Notes on secondary ports: The first connections from Piombino to the ports of Rio Marina and Cavo depart around 8:00 in the morning.
